We're developing a US-made boot sock with the soldiers who'll wear it.
Our Phase I study looks at how sock materials affect the foot under load.
Soldiers and cadets wear-test early versions through real training and report what fails.
The production sock is built from what held up, and we publish the results.
Hold up under load. Keep its cushion and shape through repeated long rucks.
Manage moisture. Move sweat away from the skin and dry fast, using a merino blend chosen by test results, not marketing.
Fully domestic. US-grown fiber, US-knit, built to meet Berry Amendment sourcing.
Built on the microbiome data. Our Phase I study measures how sock material shifts foot bacteria under load. The first sock's material will be chosen from those results.
These are targets, not claims. We'll publish results against each one.

We're building a roster of Field Testers: Soldiers who'll wear prototype Forge socks through real training and report back. Testers get free pairs and a say in the final design. Applications are open now, and the first test pairs go out when prototypes are ready.
